State-of-the-art garage equipment installation for North Wales Police
Project brief
Covering a large area incorporating both urban and rural settings, the North Wales Police Force maintains a wide-ranging vehicle fleet. The Force’s new workshop in St Asaph consolidates its series of depots across the region, bringing together personnel and facilities to keep pace with the Force’s vehicle servicing demands.
This new-build workshop is centrally located and equipped with modern, up-to-date garage equipment to service vehicles, ranging from cars and light vans to motorcycles, entirely in-house by specialist engineers. Backed by years’ of experience in working with UK emergency services, CCS was appointed by North Wales Police to deliver the new workshop’s garage equipment installation.
Specialist garage equipment installation by CCS
The new North Wales Police vehicle maintenance workshop has been constructed and fitted out to an exceptionally high specification, providing hard-working, versatile and reliable facilities for staff to carry out their critical operations for the region.
With room to grow as the Force demands in coming years, the 13-bay workshop features new in-ground vehicle lifts, dedicated motorcycle service bays, a dedicated tyre equipment bay, ancillary equipment and new Class VII brake tester for complete in-house servicing and maintenance.
Bespoke Dura workshop furniture was specified by North Wales Police for a professional, fully-equipped workshop that provides personnel with everything they need, close to hand. Excellent small tool storage is housed in units comprising integrated power and data ports, lighting, lubrication and compressed air reels that creates a neat and tidy working environment.
CCS Garage Equipment’s specialist engineers delivered the North Wales Police workshop alongside the client and its other contractors, installing equipment before testing, commissioning and training the client’s personnel. Our team continues to maintain and service equipment for a safe, durable and reliable installation that keeps essential vehicles on the road.
