Featured project: Charles Hurst Toyota, Belfast
Extensive garage equipment installation & dealership refurbishment for Toyota Belfast
Project brief
Following successful past projects at its Jaguar Land Rover and Ferrari and Maserati dealerships in the city, Charles Hurst once again appointed CCS Garage Equipment to design and install an extensive new vehicle servicing workshop for its Toyota site in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
This extensive £2.2m workshop and showroom redesign and refurbishment project was commissioned in order to bring the site up-to-date with Toyota’s latest corporate identity and brand specification, incorporating a new ‘customer hub’ concept to engage and inform customers digitally and in-person.
Specialist garage equipment installation in Northern Ireland by CCS
Charles Hurst Toyota Belfast’s refurbishment transforms the site’s existing buildings with a comprehensive garage equipment design which accommodates 13 service bays equipped with market-leading vehicle lifts and technologies.
CCS Garage Equipment was engaged from commencement of this project, consulting with our client and its appointed contractors to develop an efficient new workshop scheme and layout that maximises capacity and commercial opportunities in this spacious building, while future proofing the dealership’s workshop for the growth in electric vehicles.
Work on site in Belfast was led by CCS’ Northern Ireland garage equipment installation engineers, with a dedicated project manager ensuring the installation ran to schedule. This extensive refurbishment comprised 13 service bays equipped with 12x Nussbaum 2.35 Smart Lift vehicle lifts, and 1x Nussbaum 5.5T 2-post Smart Lift for use with larger vehicles and small vans, together with essential Samoa lubrication and oil monitoring systems.
Bespoke Dura workshop furniture completes the garage equipment installation, allowing easy access for technicians to essential tools and equipment. CCS Garage Equipment’s team completed the installation before testing and commissioning, delivering team training that will enable Toyota Belfast to get more out of its workshop investment over the coming years.
