About the role:

CCS is recruiting an Area Coordinator for our Testing Department, based at our Head Office and coordinating engineer teams in one of our servicing regions.

Working with our expanding Calibration & Testing Department, you will have good experience in administration or coordinator roles, ideally relating to lifting, LOLER testing and/or garage equipment. The role includes:

  • Management of LOLER testing engineer schedules
  • Liaising with customers
  • Invoicing
  • Management of engineer teams

You’ll be hard-working, proactive and seeking opportunities to work in a fast-paced and busy workplace with a growing market leader.

You’ll be reactive and a good problem-solver, able to respond to issues or challenges as they arise with confidence and good communication.

You’ll be conscientious and capable of working in a demanding office environment on your own with minimal supervision, and as part of a close knit team. You should have excellent organisational, multi-tasking and prioritising skills, with great attention to detail.

You will be an accomplished communicator at all levels and will want to go the extra mile on a daily basis for your colleagues and clients.

You will have excellent relationship-building skills with both customers and engineers, and good IT skills in Microsoft Office suite. This role is based at our Head Office in Leigh, Greater Manchester.

Qualifications, Experience & Training

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft programs, specifically Outlook and Excel

Skills:

  • Efficient and effective organisation of engineer teams and schedules

About the role:

We’re looking for a garage equipment engineering surveyor/LOLER examination engineer, based in South East England/M4 corridor and supporting nationally as the business demands.

The role includes visiting our customers’ premises and undertaking LOLER examinations of vehicle lifts, lorry-mounted lifting equipment and other associated garage equipment (trolley jacks, axle stands, chain slings etc). Both light-duty and heavy-duty equipment will be examined.

You will have an engineering qualification and experience in electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic equipment.

Experience in the particular field would be beneficial, but not compulsory. You will have excellent communication skills and be PC literate. A company vehicle, laptop, mobile etc will be provided.

Salary is negotiable based on experience. The position will involve nights away from home to meet the demands of our customers.

About the role:

We’re recruiting an experienced Pipe Fitter & Installation Engineer, ideally based in North England and supporting nationally as the business demands.

Working as part of our garage equipment installation team up and down the country, you’ll visit our customers’ premises nationwide and undertake the installation of vehicle workshop equipment, with particular focus on the installation, testing, commissioning and servicing of:

  • Compressed air lines
  • Exhaust extraction
  • Oil tanks
  • Oil fill & delivery lines up to 2”
  • Dura Workshop Furniture
  • Compressors
  • Set up of lubrication equipment (oil pumps, PRVs, reels, stands, dispensers, waste oil etc)

Experience of the following is beneficial but not essential:

  • 2 & 4-post vehicle lifts
  • In-ground lifts
  • Brake testers

You’ll have experience in pipe fitting and you will have an engineering qualification with experience in pipework installation for compressed air and lubrication systems. You will have excellent communication skills and be self-motivated, working well individually or as part of a team.

Working as part of our garage equipment installation team up and down the country, you’ll visit our customers’ premises nationwide and undertake the installation of vehicle workshop equipment, with particular focus on the installation, testing, commissioning, servicing, electrical and mechanical repair of workshop compressors and ancillary equipment. This role includes:

  • Installation of compressed air equipment
  • Repair, servicing and maintenance of compressed air equipment
  • Experience in compressors, hydraulics, pipework, and related equipment
  • Scheduled maintenance
  • Fault-finding, diagnostics and emergency repairs

Experience of the following is beneficial but not essential:

About the role:

We’re recruiting an experienced Calibration and Lifting Equipment Inspection Engineer to support our growing Calibration and Service department.

You’ll be based in the South of England, serving clients across the region and further afield in the UK as business demands.

The role includes visiting our customers’ premises principally in the South and undertaking the pre-planned calibration of small tools, loose lifting equipment and other measuring devices. Although primarily serving the automotive sector, your role will extend to other sectors where small tool calibration is regularly undertaken.

You will also undertake the inspection, testing, servicing and maintenance of lifting and garage equipment, including vehicle lifts, lorry-mounted lifting equipment and other associated garage equipment (trolley jacks, axle stands, chain slings etc). Both light-duty and heavy-duty equipment will be examined.

You will have an engineering qualification and experience in electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic equipment.

You will have excellent communication skills and be PC literate. A company vehicle, mobile etc will be provided.
