CCS installs new vehicle lift for Boxengasse Porsche destination, Bicester

Boxengasse is a unique destination, dedicated to the Porsche marque. Occupying 100 acres in Oxfordshire, in the heart of the UK's motorsport industry, Boxengasse houses bespoke-built servicing and restoration premises, as well as hospitality and events spaces which allow Porsche and motorsport enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the brand.

Events include Boxengasse's 'Oilcooled', an annual celebration of Porsche heritage, culture and unique place in the motoring world. Autofarm, based at the site, cares for, services and maintains Porsche models across the range, from heritage sports vehicles to the up-to-the-minute Boxster and Cayenne. The team restores vehicles, and is an award-winner in 911 specialist restoration.

CCS Garage Equipment installs leading vehicle lift technology for Boxengasse

CCS was commissioned by Boxengasse to recommend, supply and install a new Nussbaum 2.35 TSK 2-post in-ground vehicle lift, for use by the client in its specialist restoration, servicing and maintenance work.

The lift was fitted with sport car arms, enabling Boxengasse to use the lift safely with all vehicles, including high-value specialist sports and racing models. Sport car arms are flat and sturdy, making the lift suitable for cars with extremely low and/or wide profiles.

Our recommended Nussbaum vehicle lift model is ideal for workshops where space is at a premium, carrying a small footprint and with flexible height that makes it an excellent option for height-restricted buildings. The lift features automatic arm locking, a wear-resistant Poly-V belt and low-wear Nylatron-nut to guarantee quiet operation of the lift.

Professional supply, installation support & aftercare for Boxengasse's new vehicle lift

CCS worked with Boxengasse to see the lift installation through to commission and aftercare. Our team provided support for the client's groundworks contractor to ensure safe preparation of the working area, including installation of the lift cassettes, and CCS' installation engineers completed installation of the vehicle lift, including power connection, testing and training for the client's team on the safe operation of the new equipment prior to its commission.

Aftercare has included a post-installation check over the lift to ensure it's functioning correctly and to resolve any queries with the client team. CCS will continue to maintain, inspect and care for Boxengasse's new lift, protecting the client's investment and ensuring consistent regulatory compliance.
