CCS Garage Equipment has recently started work on site with Adam Morey at its brand new commercial vehicle dealership and servicing site in Bridgwater, Somerset, working alongside our client and its appointed contractors to complete the installation of new garage equipment within what is set to become an exceptional new workshop facility.

Established in 1973 and now with over 14 sites across the South and South West of England, Adams Morey is a commercial vehicle dealership brand specialising in new and used DAF Trucks, including DAF Electric vehicles, new and used Fiat commercial vans, and the servicing and maintenance of all commercial vehicles to keep fleet operators safely on the road. Adams Morey set to launch new Bridgwater dealership & commercial vehicle workshop in Somerset

Adams Morey's latest site is a brand new facility located in Bridgwater, conveniently serving customers across the South West from a location that's close to the M5 and easily accessible for Bristol, North Devon, Somerset and Wiltshire.

Construction of the spacious and fully-equipped, new-build commercial vehicle workshop is well underway, with the external structure now complete and internal groundworks in progress. The state-of-the-art workshop will contain 9 service bays, alongside stock holding of larger parts, a truck wash facility, and powered by the planned installation of renewable energy infrastructure.

Adams Morey will deliver services from its new commercial vehicle dealership and workshop including:

• Sale of new and used DAF Trucks
• Sale of new and used, diesel and electric Fiat Professional vans
• Motorhome inspections, annual servicing, repair and maintenance
• Repair, maintenance, servicing, MOT, diagnostics, body repair and paint shop facilities for buses and coaches
• Complete servicing, repair, maintenance and testing for HGV trucks and vans
• Large stocks on site of commercial vehicle parts for the client's own customers and trade

CCS begins installation of commercial workshop equipment at Adams Morey's Bridgwater site

CCS Garage Equipment has recently completed initial work on site during the build's groundworks phase, and is appointed to deliver an eventual specification including:

• 4-piston, in-ground truck lift for commercial vehicles
• Compressed air installation
• Lubrication system
• Oil monitoring system
• LEV fume extraction system serving both the workshop and in-ground servicing pits
• Pipework for all systems throughout the workshop

The workshop will also feature in-ground servicing pits, creating a range of lifting and inspection access options for the workshop's technicians when working on vehicles. 

Installation of in-ground commercial vehicle piston lift by CCS Garage Equipment

Adams Morey specified a sleek, in-ground 4-post piston lift for its Bridgwater workshop, capable of accommodating the largest commercial vehicles on the road.

CCS Garage Equipment has undertaken the initial stages of the commercial vehicle lift's installation, with the bulk of our works due to continue during the summer of 2024.

The vehicle lift model chosen for installation by CCS is focused on safe lifting, with features including:

• Unique patented design, with lifting and safety systems operating independently via two separate hydraulic circuits
• Inner cylinder, exclusively used for safety, is protected from corrosion, pollution and mechanical damage
• Outer cylinder exclusively lifts and lowers vehicles using the lift
• 4 lifting piston units, each with 15T lifting capacity
• Galvanized 'Flexcover' roller pit cover to prevent falls into the recessed pit
• Rated load capacity of 60T

The lift system is a versatile option for Adams Morey, operating with one fixed piston and 3 adjustable pistons, which are moved within the recessed frame to accommodate the axles of the vehicle to be lifted. The lift allows the workshop team to lift a wide range of vehicles, suiting the brand's services including the servicing, maintenance, repair and testing of trucks, vans, motorhomes, buses and coaches.
