How does the Smart Toolbox work?

Tools, parts, components and equipment is stored within the cabinet, and access is controlled remotely and wirelessly through a smart device and dedicated Smart Toolbox app.

Users are given permissions appropriate to their role, enabling them to access the tools and equipment they need to complete jobs efficiently using the right kit.

Your team uses the app to audit tools and other assets quickly, reporting lost or damaged equipment and - crucially - receiving reminders to complete regular audits and to carry out calibrations, keeping equipment fully-stocked and in excellent working order whilst cutting down on paperwork and manual administration.

Analytics and asset tracking can be viewed in real time, and user permissions updated where a team member needs to track across to a different project or move onto something new.

What happens if an audit picks up loss or damage?

In the event that your Smart Toolbox is missing a tool, or where a tool, component or other piece of equipment is lost or damaged, users and your line managers receive an instant email. The app allows for full traceability, keeping your team on top of their equipment care to minimise costly repairs and replacement.

What if we lose power or access?

The Smart Toolbox is designed with a manual override key in the event of a power failure, ensuring you'll always have access to the tools and valuable equipment you need, when you need it, but most users will benefit from keyless access, with no need to keep track of a key that's easily lost.

Keyless operation for managers means no more tracking of who has access to your Smart Toolbox, and no need to change locks and keys in order to maintain your workshop's security levels.
