Project brief
Following many successful years of trading, Drayton Kia’s Boston dealership had outgrown its old site. A brand new, purpose-built dealership site opened in spring 2025 following a sizeable investment by owners RJTK Automotive Group that sought to capitalise on the Kia brand’s ever-growing popularity.
Bringing the Boston dealership up to date with Kia’s latest corporate identity, and with plenty of room for the dealership’s business to grow in the coming years, the new, self-contained and energy-efficient site offers car parking space for 200 vehicles, spacious and accessible working and customer areas, attractive showroom space and a fully-equipped new vehicle servicing, repair and maintenance department.
Brand-compliant garage equipment installation for Drayton Kia, Boston
CCS Garage Equipment was appointed to deliver a comprehensive garage equipment installation for Drayton Kia’s new Boston workshop, designing an efficient installation scheme that maximised the space available and which gives the client excellent opportunities for future growth.
Kia’s corporate identity has undergone a significant transformation in recent years, focused on innovation, sustainability and customer need. The new servicing centre complements the brand’s “movement” and innovation themes, incorporating leading equipment by trusted manufacturers that will keep Kia’s customer vehicles safely on the road.
CCS’ garage equipment design team created this 9-bay workshop, equipped with 6 Nussbaum fixed, 2-post Smart Lifts with adapted EV lifting arms, 2 Nussbaum Jumbo scissor lifts which make the most of smaller workshop service bay spaces, and a Class 7 MOT bay to accommodate a wide range of vehicle sizes.
Managed throughout by our dedicated project manager, installation, testing and commission of vehicle lifts and ancillary equipment including Dura workshop furniture, Cormach tyre and wheel balancing equipment and Samoa lubrication systems, was completed and handed over in good time for the client’s launch event. CCS will continue to maintain and examine the workshop’s equipment to ensure Drayton Kia, Boston remains a safe, compliant and efficient dealership for colleagues and customers.
