Following the successful completion and launch of Adams Morey’s extensive new-build workshop at Bridgwater, Somerset, CCS is delighted to continue our working partnership with this leading commercial vehicle dealership brand for the South and South West at its new Plymouth location.
Expanding the branch’s operations as it moved from a smaller workshop in Saltash, the large new Plymouth depot offers exceptional office, colleague and workshop spaces from its central site at Langage Business Park, giving the client room to grow its truck, van and commercial vehicle dealership, servicing, testing and repair operations from a cutting-edge, self-contained base that adds excellent capacity to Adams Morey’s growing portfolio.

Commercial workshop design, installation & management by CCS
Adams Morey appointed CCS Garage Equipment to deliver its new Plymouth depot, refurbishing and repurposing an existing commercial building to create a modern, fully-equipped servicing, maintenance, testing and repair facility to serve commercial vehicles including DAF Trucks and DAF Electric vehicles, new and used Fiat vans, and a wide range of other heavy and light goods vehicles.
Working alongside our client and its appointed architects and contractors, CCS’ garage equipment and workshop design specialists created a 9-bay commercial vehicle workshop for Adams Morey Plymouth, maximising the available space in this L-shaped workshop structure through careful planning and location of equipment that aids the safe movement of vehicles internally and externally.
Installed and project-managed by CCS throughout, the Adams Morey Plymouth depot features 9 commercial vehicle servicing bays including 5 prefabricated steel inspection pits, 2 state-of-the-art load simulation brake testers, 2 tachograph rollers, all ancillary workshop utilities and systems including LEV fume extraction and lubrication, and installation of an external, galvanised steel vehicle wash ramp, together with larger parts stores, solar panels and EV charging for cars and LCVs, supporting the client’s complete suite of services that keep logistics, fleet, construction and other commercial vehicles operating safely.
CCS’ dedicated project manager supervised this installation throughout, bringing expertise and understanding of our client’s operations gained on the Bridgwater project to Plymouth in order to maintain brand consistency across every Adams Morey site. All garage equipment was thoroughly tested prior to commission, and our client’s workshop team given training in its safe and efficient operation to make sure our client achieves great value from its investment. Routine maintenance, servicing and examination by CCS now continues to keep Adams Morey’s Plymouth depot operational and compliant in the years to come.

CCS installed the workshop’s complete ancillary services systems, including pipework, hoses and reels for reliable and hardwearing LEV fume extraction, compressed air and lubrication.

Tough, epoxy resin floor paint systems installed around inspection pits, access staircases and other hazards maintain a safe and professional working environment for technicians.
