Replacing a number of smaller workshops, Merseyside Police’s ‘super hub’ consolidates the Force’s vehicle workshop operations and brings services together under a brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Liverpool.
CCS is proud to have delivered this exceptional project, delivering an innovative garage equipment solution from concept and design through to commissioning and training. With safety and workshop operational efficiency at the heart of the project, the super hub contains all facilities needed to keep Merseyside Police on the road.
Bespoke garage equipment for essential services by CCS
The Merseyside Police super hub services a full suite of vehicles including cars, motorcycles and vans, and garage equipment integrates further functionality to maintain and care for police diving boats.
Working alongside the client’s architect and building contractors, CCS delivered specialist advice and recommendation throughout the design process backed by our many years of experience in handling workshop projects for emergency services throughout the UK. This durable, versatile and carefully-planned garage equipment installation is built to last, ensuring value is achieved for the client.
Our team installed a full complement of industry-leading equipment for Merseyside Police, including 1 Class 7 MOT bay, 1 MOT bay for Classes 1 & 2, 17 vehicle service lifts, 2 motorcycle lifts and a spray booth, complemented by new workshop cabinetry and air, lubrication and fume extraction systems, enabling the client to fully service, maintain and repair its vehicles entirely in-house.
Throughout the facility’s build and installation, CCS’ dedicated project manager and specialist site team, all highly experienced in the delivery of major developments for key services clients, quality assured all work to progress to a prompt completion.
