CCS was appointed by Lookers to deliver this state-of-the-art new vehicle servicing and maintenance garage equipment installation for the brand's Volvo Colchester dealership.

Volvo Colchester's new site is equipped with 8 EV charging points, solar panels and a vehicle servicing workshop featuring industry-leading garage equipment which accommodates both combustion engine and electric vehicles.

1. Installation of vehicle lifts is completed, featuring refurbished, tested and reused 2-post, in-ground vehicle lifts, and the installation of a new, fixed 2-post 4T Nussbaum vehicle lift to accommodate larger and heavier vehicles.

2. CCS Garage Equipment has supplied and installed new tyre changing and wheel balancing equipment by Cormach for Volvo Colchester, featuring easy-to-use technology by this leading manufacturer for enhanced safety in the Volvo Colchester workshop.

3. Emissions analyser supplied and commissioned by CCS. This connected MOT emissions analyser is equipped with a petrol exhaust gas analyser, diesel smoke meter, Bluetooth connectivity and a range of other user-friendly features to support the Volvo Colchester team as it undertakes in-house MOTs for vehicles across the brand's range.

4. Dedicated Class IV MOT bay, supplied, installed, tested and commissioned by CCS Garage Equipment and fully-equipped for in-house MOT testing by the Volvo Colchester vehicle servicing and maintenance team.

5. A Nussbaum fixed, 2-post 4T vehicle lift is a key feature of our garage equipment installation for Volvo Colchester, allowing the vehicle workshop's servicing and maintenance technicians to safely work on larger vehicles, as well as electric and hybrid models.

6. The workshop's existing suite of 2-post, in-ground vehicle lifts is tested and refurbished, ensuring this complete garage equipment installation by CCS will be fully operational and compliant with all regulations, as well as Volvo's brand specification, prior to opening of the dealership's new site in late 2023.
