CCS hands over new workshop installation for Northgate Vehicle Hire's Hoddesdon depot

CCS has worked with Northgate Vehicle Hire for a number of years, refurbishing, installing and maintaining the brand's vehicle servicing and maintenance depots and equipment throughout the UK that help to keep Northgate's commercial vehicle hire fleet safely on the road. 

Continuing our installation programme, CCS' garage equipment team in the South East has recently completed and handed over this brand new workshop at Northgate's new, purpose-built Hoddesdon depot in Hertfordshire, north of London. Northgate's former site at Waltham Cross has been relocated to Hoddesdon, which offers more room, improved facilities and equipment, and state-of-the-art sustainability features.

Located in a new facility close to the A10, Northgate Vehicle Hire's new Hoddesdon depot is ideally situated to serve customers across the Hertfordshire area. North of London and with excellent access to the M25, Northgate's Hoddesdon team is easily accessible in this busy industrial and commercial area that stretches across to Harlow, Nazeing , Hertford and Stansted.

The new, purpose-built branch offers a large footprint and plenty of room for parking and storage, enabling Hoddesdon to supply, maintain and service more vehicles, making for good business growth opportunities. The depot's workshop will be used to service, test, repair and maintain the branch's fleet of commercial vans, cars and electric vehicles on short and long-term hire.

The double-joined adapted lifting arms on the Nussbaum Smart Lift reach all mounting points specified by vehicle manufacturers, safely lifting both electric and combustion engine vehicles for optimum versatility on the workshop floor.

CCS installed a full lubrication distribution and storage system throughout the new Hoddesdon workshop, including hoses and reels by long-term supplier Samoa. Hardwearing and easy to use, Samoa lubrication technology is incorporated into systems by CCS that include comprehensive pipework installation for efficient delivery. 

The Hoddesdon workshop's new air compressor, installed by CCS Garage Equipment and serving service bays throughout the facility. CCS' complete garage equipment team installs pipework for compressed air and lubrication to ensure workshop technicians have access to all the amenities and facilities they need to get the job done. 

Cormach's wheel balancing equipment was supplied by CCS Garage Equipment to Northgate Vehicle Hire at Hoddesdon. This electronic wheel balancer is suitable for use across a wide range of cars and commercial vehicles, automatically acquiring data for accuracy and efficiency.

Tyre changing equipment by Cormach was supplied by CCS for the new Northgate Vehicle Hire Hoddesdon workshop. Efficient, automatic and safe to use, Cormach tyre changing machinery is specified by CCS for its reliability and versatility in busy workshops that service and maintain a wide range of vehicles. 

An essential component of any commercial vehicle workshop, CCS specified and installed fresh and waste oil bunded tanks for the safe, on site storage of lubricants and waste oils that complies with industry regulations. Bunded oil storage tanks offer good capacities and are integrated into the workshop's lubrication systems by our professional garage equipment installation team. 

Cormach tyre changing and wheel balancing equipment supplied, installed and tested by CCS Garage Equipment for Northgate Vehicle Hire's new, purpose-built Hoddesdon depot. This reliable, easy-to-use technology is efficient and safe, built to quality engineering standards by this Italian manufacturer.  

Samoa oil bars and outlets form part of the Hoddesdon depot's lubrication distribution network installed by CCS Garage Equipment, with integrated drip trays keeping each unit neat, self-contained and preventing hazards caused by spillages.
