CCS nearing completion on garage equipment installation for BMW Park Lane, London

The extension will provide considerably greater operational space for the client’s workshop team, enabling them to turn vehicles around more quickly, efficiently and with the reassurance that their equipment, including vehicle lifts and Dura cabinetry, is of market-leading quality.

BMW Park Lane’s garage equipment design and installation by CCS

Having worked with the client previously, CCS already enjoyed excellent understanding of the brand requirements, as well as the expectations of our client. Commencing with a period of consultancy, our design team created a solution which almost doubled the capacity of the workshop whilst allowing for exceptional equipment and safety standards. This unique facility’s garage equipment installation includes:

• 14 service bays
• Nussbaum in-ground vehicle lifts
• 2 5-tonne, two-post in-ground vehicle lifts
• Dura cabinets and workshop furniture
• Oil & lubrication systems
• Compressed air systems
• Exhaust extraction systems

With focus on the innovation that CCS brings to its projects, the installation of 5-tonne lifts will enable the client to service armoured vehicles as part of its normal operations.

As the project nears completion, Dura’s cabinets have recently been installed and we now look forward to providing internal training to the client teams in the safe function of the equipment and commissioning the new workshop extension for operation.

Ground preparation adds value to CCS’ services at BMW Park Lane

Uniquely on this project, CCS provided support with the installation of steel cassettes prior to the delivery and further installation of the workshop’s service pits. This preparatory construction work, fully managed by CCS, ensured accuracy of the final installation and provided great added value to our client through consistency of personnel and careful management of the site.
