Garage equipment installation project update at Biffa depot, Anglesey

Biffa's North Wales depot on the island of Anglesey is an important hub for our client's services in the area, and its depot was in need of refurbishment to bring the facility up to date in order to professionally service the business's RCV fleet.

Phase 1 of the garage equipment installation now underway

Phase 1 of the project is now underway, with the installation of a new 13m prefabricated steel pit, bespoke-built and supplied by the UK's leading pits manufacturer, together with an innovative motorised personnel safety cover. This fully-adjustable retractable plate ensures operational safety for Biffa's team, protecting them from falls whilst keeping the pit itself in good condition underneath.

Breaking through the depot's concrete floor was certainly a challenge for our installation team!

Just two weeks later, the pit is in place, together with new brake tester, shaker plates, headlamp tester and a new workshop heater to create a more comfortable working environment for our client's team.

Our work on site continues to bring phase 1 of this essential refurbishment in on time, and to the client's budget.
