New garage equipment installation underway for Co-Op, Biggleswade

Ideally situated to support the business's distribution operations throughout the South East, Co-Op's new vehicle maintenance facility in Biggleswade is now constructed and CCS' commercial garage equipment installation team is on site to start the fit-out works.

Co-Op operates an extensive fleet and requires a fully-equipped, sizeable maintenance facility that will keep essential supplies on the road and shelves stocked. CCS has worked alongside the client's architects and builders, as well as the vehicle maintenance team, to plan an installation which will suit the growing business and its fleet. 

Garage equipment installation specification

This 5-bay workshop is housed in a brand new building, allowing us to design a bespoke garage equipment system from scratch. The workshop will comprise:

• 3 prefabricated steel service pits, bespoke-built by the UK's leading pits supplier
• 1 fully-equipped ATF lane to allow in-house vehicle testing and inspections
• Compressed air and lubrication systems
• LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) system

Throughout the installation, CCS' experienced project managers and site team will ensure efficiency and high service standards are maintained, communicating with other parties on site to complete the facility on time and hand over to Co-Op.
