Commercial vehicle wash bay lift installation by CCS Garage Equipment

Biffa engaged CCS to remove an old wash bay ramp at its Bromborough depot, bringing the workshop's equipment up to date with installation of a brand new, 35-ton wash bay lift.

Two new hot water pressure washers were also supplied to fully refurbish the depot's commercial vehicle wash down facilities.

As part of this wash bay lift installation, our team modified the site's existing recesses to accommodate the new lift, delivering a complete vehicle lift installation in line with our cilent's refurbishment schedule.

New commercial vehicle wash down lifts from leading manufacturers

The new wash bay lift, supplied by industry-leading manufacturer Stertil Koni, is a specialist vehicle lift for heavy commercial trucks and RCVs such as those operated by our client. Designed for ease of use and excellent access to all parts of the vehicle, the lift enables professional vehicle wash down even in workshops where space is tight.

Features of the commercial vehicle wash bay lift installed by CCS Garage Equipment include:

• Independent mechanical locking from 90mm for increased safety when lifting
• In-built overload mechanism
• No baseframe required, allowing for a swift and straightforward installation
• Vertical lift enables your team to freely access all parts of the vehicle when washing down

The wash down lift can be extended as an optional specification, creating platform lengths of up to 30m and a total lift capacity of up to 70 tons.
