CCS Garage Equipment's commercial vehicle workshop specialists were appointed by TIP Trailers to deliver a new 8-bay workshop at the brand's depot in Shepshed, Leicestershire. Working alongside our client's architects and building contractors, our garage equipment installation team is now on site, undertaking initial groundworks and internal fit-out of this roomy workshop that will keep essential logistics and road freight on the move.

- Conversion of former storage building into commercial vehicle servicing and maintenance workshop, including installation of commercial vehicle lifts at TIP Trailers, Hull in East Yorkshire
- Development and installation of commercial vehicle workshop garage equipment from the ground up at TIP Trailer Services, Nuneaton
- Installation and commission of a bespoke HGV servicing pit and ancillary equipment for TIP Trailers, Liverpool
- Installation of a new 12m vehicle servicing pit and pit jack at the TIP Trailers, Grays (Essex) site
CCS Garage Equipment's commercial vehicle workshop installation for TIP Trailers' Shepshed site in Leicestershire includes:
- New build workshop on existing site

📸 Work gets underway at TIP Trailers' new servicing & maintenance workshop in Shepshed, Leicestershire
1. With the external fabric of the building in place, groundworks have been completed and prefabricated steel inspection pit cassettes fitted. Steel pits are installed first on every workshop installation project, positioning each prior to a concrete pour that creates the workshop floor.
2. The exterior of this large, 8-bay workshop is in place, featuring roller shutter doors to each servicing bay and the ATF lane. This new workshop adds state-of-the-art facilities to this site which previously comprised bare ground for the parking of trailers and trucks.
3. Internal fit-out and groundworks continue, as the site's new ATF lane pit is installed. The ATF lane facilities the complete servicing and testing of TIP Trailers' and its customers' vehicles, keeping logistics safely on the road and compliant with all industry regulations.
4. Three steel inspection pits are situated alongside each other in the new workshop in Shepshed, Leicestershire, creating exceptional servicing capacity. Operations will run efficiently and safely using industry-leading pits equipped with anti-slip flooring and steps, integrated lighting, jacks and small tool storage once complete.
5. Initial groundworks and cassette installation of the ATF lane's prefabricated steel pit is completed, alongside a side-entry tunnel for safe and easy access and egress during vehicle testing.
6. The new TIP Trailers commercial vehicle workshop takes shape in Shepshed, Leicestershire, creating exceptional servicing, maintenance and testing capacity for large HGVs in the region and supporting our client's continued business growth in the UK and Europe. Our installation team continues work on site, with electrical teams now completing their aspects of the installation.
