🔧 Project Update: CCS completes installation of in-ground piston commercial lift at Adams Morey's Bridgwater depot

As installation continues at this extensive commercial vehicle workshop for Adams Morey in Bridgwater, Somerset, CCS Garage Equipment's specialist installation team has completed installation of the workshop's leading in-ground, hydraulic piston vehicle lift.

Adams Morey is making a significant investment in its new Bridgwater depot in Somerset. This extensive commercial vehicle dealership and servicing site is set to create an outstanding facility for Adams Morey's team and clients, equipped with the latest workshop technologies to professionally service and maintain commercial vehicles.

The exterior construction of the new-build, 9-bay commercial vehicle workshop is now complete and our garage equipment installation team is progressing well with installation of leading equipment.

Installation of hydraulic piston, in-ground commercial vehicle lift

Our installation team, led by Senior Engineer Tim, has managed the installation of this exceptional in-ground lift which comfortably accommodates the largest commercial vehicles on the road.

This vehicle lift operates using hydraulic, in-ground piston columns for a neat wheel-free lift, and offers features including:

  • Exclusive, integrated patented safety system, a double hydraulic system comprising an outer cylinder for lifting and lowering and a second cylinder dedicated to safety
  • Separate hydraulic circuits operate each cylinder
  • Integration of safety mechanism protects it against corrosion, dirt and other particles
  • Automatic level regulation
  • Unique pit cover system protects internal mechanisms and enhances workshop operational safety
  • Pit cover itself can withstand loads of up to 4T
  • Rotation lock on each lift cylinder
  • Hot galvanised oil tank on each lift cylinder, directly connected with a pilot controlled, one-way valve
  • Lift can accommodate low-profile vehicles, with a free drive-on height of just 60mm
  • Lifting capacity of 15T per column to a lifting height of 1900mm
  • Telescopic cylinders with built-in depth of just 1500mm
  • Versatile for use with 2, 3 or 4 columns depending on the vehicle
  • Lift options in the range offer up to 6 lifting columns
  • Options include radio comms, axle distances and position indicators

An excellent job by our team, delivering a lift that's not only versatile and safety-focused, but which looks fantastic in this spacious workshop. Vehicle lift is connected via wall mounted control unit14. The in-ground, commercial vehicle lift is operated by a wall-mounted control unit, keeping workshop personnel a safe distance away during a lift. Optional extras for the lift include radio comms to aid collaboration between team members when lifting and working on a vehicle.
