The North Wales Police Force covers a large area, including both urban and rural settings across North Wales. Until now, the Force has maintained its wide-ranging vehicle fleet at a series of depots throughout the region.
The Force is now consolidating its operations into a state-of-the-art new vehicle workshop in St Asaph, allowing workshop staff to operate out of a modern, up-to-date facility which can keep pace with the demands of servicing a growing fleet of vehicles ranging from cars and light vans to motorcycles.

The new North Wales Police vehicle workshop is approaching its opening date, with staff migrating over from other Force depots into the new facility which has been constructed and fitted out to an exceptionally high specification, providing excellent facilities for staff and with room to grow as needed.
CCS' garage equipment installation specification for this project includes:
- Bespoke Dura workshop cabinets & furniture
- New in-ground vehicle lifts
- LEV fume extraction system
- Lubrication & oil systems, including clean & waste oil storage tanks
- Compressed air systems
- New Class VII brake tester
- 2 dedicated motorcycle service bays
- Dedicated tyre equipment bay
- Tough epoxy resin flooring &demarking of service bay areas
The 13-bay workshop also features an MOT bay and dedicated wheel alignment bay, both containing equipment which had been relocated from the client's former workshop in Deeside.
All equipment is now in situ, pending final commission. As ever, CCS has been on site to hand over the workshop to the client, including delivery of team training to workshop personnel where required. Support from our experienced garage equipment engineers enables the client to operate equipment safely whilst getting the most out of its new investment.
