CCS delivers more than just garage equipment! We were recently appointed by long-term waste management client Biffa to refurbish colleague spaces at a large Nottingham depot, creating comfortable rest and hygiene facilities for a safer and more comfortable working environment.

Our team has worked alongside national waste management specialists Biffa for many years, taking care of new workshop installation projects, equipment maintenance, repair, servicing, and equipment testing at depots up and down the country. With excellent understanding of our client's organisation, operations and its people, we were recently appointed to manage and deliver a refurbishment scheme at a large waste management site in Nottingham, creating comfortable rest and hygiene areas that help colleagues work safely, and our client's site to remain compliant.
CCS' project scope at this site included management of the refurbishment of colleague spaces which allow the team to eat, wash, work and rest away from the depot's main operational area.
The completed areas create a fully-equipped, comfortable site that allows Biffa's extensive regional team to work and rest fully in compliance with health and safety regulations, with ease of access to everything they need.
Our refurbishment project is complete and spaces are now in routine daily use, supporting Biffa's workshop and operations teams throughout working hours.
CCS managed the installation of this new kitchen area for Biffa's Nottingham depot, including plumbing and electrics for the kitchen's sink area and cabinets. An air conditioning unit offers both cooling and heating to the area, creating a comfortable working and rest space for the client team whatever the weather.
An office area was created, with new office furniture supplied and built as part of our project specification. The office now contains dedicated desk spaces and document storage to maintain a tidy and compliant office working area.
New toilet cubicles and a large trough sink were installed at this Nottingham waste management depot for Biffa, refurbishing the space with flooring, plumbing and bathroom furniture.
The updated toilet facilities included replacement of hand dryers for more up-to-date, efficient models. CCS also completed electrical works to the refurbishment as required, ensuring power supplies are sufficient throughout.

Shower cubicles were installed by CCS for Biffa at this Nottingham waste management depot, creating fully-equipped hygiene and rest spaces that enable colleagues to work safely. The shower room also includes an extraction system, new flooring and fresh paint.
Each shower cubicle is fitted with an electric shower, with plumbing and electrics completed by CCS as part of our facility refurbishment scope.
New flooring was installed to a number of areas throughout, including this office space. Hardwearing flooring makes an immediate impact, creating a clean and tidy space that's safe to move around in and easy to clean.
