🔧 CCS hands over Drayton Kia's brand new Boston workshop installation in Lincolnshire

Having outgrown its previous site in the town, Drayton Kia has recently opened its brand new dealership and servicing centre in Boston, Lincolnshire. 

This state-of-the-art, purpose-built dealership site is now fully operational and is the product of a sizeable investment by owners RJTK Automotive Group, bringing the Boston dealership right up to date with Kia's latest corporate identity and giving the dealership room to grow, with excellent vehicle parking and display facilities for sales, and a fully-equipped, brand new servicing centre created by CCS Garage Equipment's dealership workshop specialists, to support the business's growing client base in the area. 

The energy-efficient building offers spacious, accessible working and customer areas, including modern offices and attractive showroom spaces which encourage buyers to browse the range.

At the dealership's official opening, Boston Market Area Sales Manager for Drayton Motors Kia, Jack Butler, commented:

CCS completes garage equipment installation for Drayton Kia, Boston

CCS has completed, fully-tested and commissioned Drayton Kia's new Boston vehicle servicing and maintenance workshop, handing over the facility in time for the dealership's official opening event and with daily operations now in full swing. 

Prior to hand over, our workshop installation engineers delivered comprehensive training for our client's vehicle technicians on the safe operation of the workshop's new equipment to ensure our client achieves great value from its significant investment. 

Our garage equipment installation for Drayton Kia, Boston included: 

• 9 vehicle servicing bays
• Class 7 MOT bay, accommodating Kia's full vehicle range which includes a growing fleet of heavier electric vehicles 
• 6 Nussbaum Smart Lifts with 3.5T lifting capacity and adapted EV lifting arms
• 2 Nussbaum Jumbo scissor lifts, offering a space-saving lifting alternative for the client's technician team  
• Samoa lubrication equipment, including waste oil collection units
• Cormach tyre changing and wheel balancing equipment 
• LEV fume extraction
• Dura workshop furniture, featuring built-in compressed air and lubrication delivery, and mobile tool cabinets for efficient working

Managed by CCS' dedicated garage equipment installation team, Drayton Kia's Boston workshop installation has now been completed and handed over. These images were captured during the installation and final testing, shortly before handover. 

1. Nussbaum Smart Lifts and Nussbaum Jumbo Lifts, installed by CCS' experienced vehicle lift installation engineers, were specified by our Kia franchise client for their reliability, excellent lifting capacities of up to 3.5T, and ease of use by workshop technicians. 

2. 3 Nussbaum 3.5T Smart Lifts are joined by 2 Nussbaum Jumbo Lifts, which make great use of the available workshop floor space to increase efficiency and operational capacity. Space-saving Jumbo Lifts offer strong, wheel-free lifting to suit many vehicles in Kia's range. 

3. The exterior of the new Drayton Kia Boston dealership and servicing centre, shortly before handover of the site to the client. The new dealership site allows the business room to expand in the coming years, with brand-compliant customer, servicing and operations spaces throughout. 

4. CCS Garage Equipment regularly works with Samoa to supply and install market-leading lubrication equipment to our garage equipment installation projects. Samoa was used for Drayton Kia's Boston servicing centre, including lubrication distribution systems throughout the workshop and these mobile waste oil capture units.

5. Drayton Kia's team was given full training by our garage equipment installation team on the safe operation of all vehicle lifts and garage equipment prior to commission. Here, engineers and technicians examine the Nussbaum Smart Lift's EV lifting capabilities. 

6. A fully-equipped Class 7 MOT bay offers good lifting capacity for in-house vehicle testing, with a recessed 4-post lift, brake tester, headlamp tester and lifting jack, as well as associated LEV system and diagnostics equipment. 

7. Our garage equipment installation takes shape at Drayton Kia, Boston in Lincolnshire. 8 vehicle servicing bays are served by industry-leading Nussbaum vehicle lifts installed by CCS' specialist vehicle lift engineers, with the Class 7 MOT bay located in a dedicated bay separately.
